CLAP is a two-day training programme with the objective of equipping Lions with the knowledge and skills to be future leaders of your Club. Topics that participants will grapple with include Fundamentals of Lionism, Goal Setting, leveraging on Diversity in a Lions Club, Membership Retention and Motivation, among others. There will also be many opportunities for participants to share their experiences and observations concerning Lionism in our Singapore context. The entire Programme will be facilitated by highly experienced Lions and other trainers with a wealth of expertise to share.

At the end of this intensive two-day Programme, participants will have a much clearer idea of the issues that a Lions Club leader has to deal with, and have the necessary skills to handle them. They will then be in a better position to make the vital decision to come forward to lead your Club.

It is critical for Clubs to be conscious of the need to plan for the succession of leadership of your Club. The District Leadership Training Institute is fully committed to helping you in this succession planning process. We are therefore inviting you to nominate those members of your Club whom you believe have the potential to take on leadership roles in the future, to attend this offering of CLAP.
